3/5/22 - Excuse Me But I'm Tired of Your Excuses - Plants + Planters for Sale

Plant shop denver buy pottery near pots planters and houseplants

Excuses, excuses.

You'll have to excuse me, but I’ve heard your excuses before.

My cousin little Tim-Tim is coming into town this weekend. I have too many plants. I thought that all these things that you paid for were all for free. I want to come, but I think I’m getting tail reattachment surgery that weekend. I didn’t mean to message you, but your stuff looks great. I might have to wash my hair.

Yeah, I’ve heard it all.

Whatever the reason is, it’s not good enough, and you should be here.

Where else can you find all of this? Or what about all of that? Did you see this pot? Excuse me, but this cactus … so plant.

When it comes down to it, there are no excuses. Ask one of my favorite customers, Shelley.

Shelley doesn’t live in Colorado, she’s from Kentucky in fact, and yet she’s been to my North Denver shop twice.

When she’s in town, she might be taking care of some Golden work opportunity, or attending a J. Cole concert, but she always makes a plan to visit her main pottery man. And because of that, I go out of my way for her too, opening the shop on off days, slashing prices on low, low priced items, and lending her a helping hand when life decides to be a thorn, or two, in the side of her hand.

I have to hand it to her, Shelley doesn’t make excuses. She drives 1,000 miles to get to where she wants. She and I are the same. Most people from Boulder and I are not. Shelley and I don’t think a 25 minute drive to save hundreds of dollars on plants and pottery is too much to ask.

We don’t wash our hair instead of taking care of business. We did mean to send that message, because your stuff looks great. We don’t reattach tails, we catch tiger pots by their tails. We don’t expect handouts, but we’ll show up for a great deal. We never have too many plants. And we definitely don’t rearrange our schedules just because that lil’ fcuk boi Little Tim Tim decides to show up for a change.

So excuse me. We’re tired of your excuses. If you can’t reach out and go after what you want, you’ll never change, and you and Tim Tim deserve each other.

If you deserve the best prices on great pottery right here in Denver though, here’s what you do:

Prepare yourself to visit North Denver on the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, between 1030 and 530. Don’t be early. I won’t make excuses. I’m hardly ever there on time and never much before.

Message me for the address, or to arrange a visit midweek if our schedules align:

@ahouseofpots

Brace yourself to be overwhelmed with options. There’s a lot here. There’s more coming. Forever. Glazed and ceramic pottery costs between $10-100 on average. Terracotta ranges between $1 and $35 (18.1”).

The plants shown are also for sale. $5-$75 covers most philodendron, pothos, snake plants, ZZs, succulents, and house plants, though there are some $175ish big cacti too.

You don’t need permission to enter the plant shop and get your shop on. Unless your name happens to be Cousin Tim Tim. In that case, a small cover applies, fcuk boi. Your free ride ends here.

But if you’re not Tim Tim and you like free things, you might be in luck.

Every customer who purchases two or more items receives a discounted price. Pick several items and one of them might just be for free. Think multi item discounts first, and if you can’t excuse yourself from buying all the plants and pots that you deserve, we make sure that you know you’re appreciated.

And if you only appreciate totally free, no-strings attached kind of0 swag, feel free to partake and take any of the following:

Broken pottery

Worthless debris

Clay pots for tots, that accompany you

Terracotta shards

Broken ceramic for crafts

Cardboard

Occasional clippings

Rescue plants that you’re going to rehab no excuses about it

Photo ops with Rudy

Rudy’s autograph

A date with Rudy, if you’re paying
